DIY Glow Sticks in Balloons. Changes boring balloons at night into something fun. From Play at Home Mom here. She has more ideas for glow sticks on her site. She writes:
I purchased these glow sticks at the dollar store. Bracelets come in a pack of five. You can also get some at Michaels Craft Store in a pack of 15 for a buck! If you store the glow sticks in the freezer after using them, they will last several nights.

DIY Little Letter Needle Book Holder. At the kellyrachel blog. Tutorial here. I’ve had these in my computer folder as “like” for a day or so. Sometimes I sit on tutorials thinking would I spend my time on this really? I decided I liked this tutorial a lot and that these little envelopes were kind of like a sweet version of the very sophisticated and elegant embroidered envelope I posted a day or so ago.

Bookmaking Tutorial: Three-Point Binding
Making little notebooks is as easy as it is fun! Here I’ll teach you how I make mine, so you can make some of your own. ;)

What you’ll need:
- An x-acto or craft knife (or a paper trimmer if you have one)
- A ruler
- A cutting mat (or a piece of thick cardboard)
- Scissors
- Cardstock for the cover
- Paper for the pages
- Bone folder (or the blunt side of a butter knife)
- An awl or a thumb tack
- A bookbinding Needle (I use a tapestry needle, same thing but cheaper!)
- Waxed thread (you can use embroidery thread as well)
- A pencil
- A paper clip

Handmade Fox Dolls
I love these beautiful Takyaje fox dolls by Russian designer Nalogina Lubov–they have such great character. Her attention to detail in the miniature handmade accessories is simply amazing. You’ve got to love the little fox running away with the chicken!
You can find more beautiful examples of Nalogina’s work on her Flickr photostream.
